Jharkhand BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash launched a scathing attack on the Chief Minister of the state, Hemant Soren. He said that Hemant Soren lied to the public to win votes and became the Chief Minister.

New Delhi: Jharkhand BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash launched a scathing attack on the Chief Minister of the state, Hemant Soren. He said that Hemant Soren lied to the public to win votes and became the Chief Minister.

The Rajya Sabha MP came down heavily on CM Hemant saying that the latter did not fulfil any promises made to the public, especially para teachers, home guards and contract workers, as their jobs have not been confirmed. He even said that Panchayat secretaries were not appointed and called on everyone to teach CM Hemant a lesson in the upcoming by-election in Madhupur.

"Defeat the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha candidate in this by-election. My request to all these people is that in the Madhupur by-election, a public awareness campaign should be conducted against the government and tell the people that this government is unacceptable," Deepak Prakash said, adding that the CM must be taught a lesson for having concocted lies.

It may be noted that the voting for the assembly by-election is to be held on April 17 in Madhupur, Jharkhand. The by-election is being held here after the death of JMM MLA Haji Hussain Ansari. His son Hafeezul Hasan Ansari is the candidate of JMM. He faces Ganga Narayan of BJP. The Mahagathbandhan (JMM-Congress-RJD) is trying its best to win the by-election.
