New Delhi: With Congress poised to form the government in Karnataka as suggested by the trends in the assembly election results, Janata Dal (United) leader KC Tyagi has said that all opposition parties including H D Kumaraswamy led JD (S) will remain united against the BJP. "I appeal to JD (S) to remain with the opposition parties.
A united opposition can defeat the BJP in the 2024 election," said Tyagi while talking to ETV Bharat. Stating that Karnataka was the “only entry point” for BJP in south, Tyagi said the defeat for the party here will “definitely give the saffron brigade a major jolt”. "We all are confident that ahead of 2024 election all the remaining opposition parties will come together to form a formidable opposition to BJP," Tyagi added.

"As Mamata Banerjee rightly said that all the opposition parties should come together to defeat BJP, we also appeal to all the opposition to come together ahead of the next years general election," Tyagi said.
