New Delhi:Police in Delhi detained four students from Kargil on Thursday in connection with a blast near the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi on January 29. Sources said, police received inputs that the detained students were in contact with those who carried out the blast.
The Delhi police's Special Cell handed evidence and documents to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) which will further interrogate the students.
NIA has also announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for identifying two people captured on CCTV cameras in connection with the blast. Earlier, the Special Cell of Delhi Police was probing the case but on February 2, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued an order to hand over the case to the National Investigation Agency, which deals with terror cases in India. No arrests have been made in this case so far.
