New Delhi: Indian smart cities will be model for the world in the near future, said Kunal Kumar, Joint Secretary, Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Kunal Kumar, In-charge of India's smart city mission said that " a total of Rs 1,25,000 crore tender have already been done ever since the smart city mission was launched. "Rs 75,000 crore work order has already been achieved," Kumar added. He further said that all cities are doing well.
"Earlier cities were not talking about smart metering, integrated command control system, innovation center but now the situation has been changed," said the mission In-charge. The governmentis now working on much more outcome."We are working on ease of living, economic growth as well as sustainable living," said Kumar.
