New Delhi:Indian National Congress (INC) held a meeting to formalise the party's stand on the Central government's decision to revoke Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
All the general secretaries, in-charge of states, state presidents of state and all MPs were present at the meeting.
INC claims that Article 370 has been revoked from J&K in an unconstitutional and undemocratic manner. But many Congress leaders have their different opinions regarding the matter and they have supported the decision of Central government.
Jharkhand MP Dheeraj Sahu Dheeraj Sahu, MP from Jharkhand, said that the leaders have put forward their views regarding Article 370, but there should be a particular stand of the party which will be decided in the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meet on Saturday.
"The CWC will also take the decision regarding the resignation of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress chief Ajoy Kumar," he added.
Ajoy Kumar has stepped down from the post accusing some colleagues of promoting their own interests over the party and indulging in corrupt practices.
