New Delhi: As per the recent trend, the rate of COVID-19 infection has recorded a considerable decrease of 7 per cent in the national capital on Tuesday. Despite the decrease, people should be wary of the disease and adhere COVID-19 protocol strictly, said Dr Rajan Sharma, president of Indian Medical Association to ETV Bharat.
As the RT PCR test rate is reduced to Rs 800, large scale testing is expected, leading to further containment of the disease. In the third wave of COVID-19 infection, about 8000 people were infected on a daily basis. He added that over one lakh eighty-three thousand people were infected in November but they were also cured, depicting positive signs of recovery.
