Hundreds of Tablighis come forward to donate plasma

According to the details, 4 Tablighi members from Sultanpuri Quarantine Center of Delhi have donated plasma. While 190 from Narila Quarantine Center, 51 from Sultanpuri Quarantine Center and 42 from Mangol Puri Quarantine Center will donate their plasma. These are the people who tested positive for COVID-19 and recovered after treatment.

What does it mean to donate plasma through them? In fact, plasma therapy is actually a treatment. The isolated plasma of recovered COVID-19 patients is transferred to the patients in distress.

Plasma is actually a transparent part of the blood that is obtained by separating blood cells. Plasma contains antibodies and other proteins. Transmission of plasma containing antibodies provides the sick person with 'passive immunity' to fight the disease.

People don't usually agree to this therapy, but the members of the Tablighi Jamaat have not only agreed to donate their own blood, but it has already begun, which is being praised by the leaders of the ruling BJP itself.

On the other hand, the Delhi government itself has praised the Tablighi Jamaat. Arvind Kejriwal tweeted yesterday praising those who donated plasma.
