Home Minister Shah's back to back meetings over internal security

Newly appointed Home Minister Amit Shah had back to back meetings with the Governors of different states in order to evaluate India’s internal security. He also discussed the country's law and order in the meeting with BSF, CRPF and NDRF. Governor Satyapal Mallik apprised him of the steps taken for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra.

New Delhi: Ever since Amit Shah took charge as the Union Home Minister on Saturday, he held back to back meetings with the Governors of Goa, Kerala and Jammu and Kashmir.

Shah also held meetings with BSF, CRPF and NDRF on Monday to discuss the situation of the country in terms of law and order.

During the meeting with Shah on Saturday, Governor Satyapal Mallik briefed him about the steps taken to maintain law and order ahead of the coming Amarnath Yatra, sources told ETV Bharat

Later, NDRF Chief SN Pradhan has instructed Shah about the steps taken and preparedness in case of any disaster in India.
