New Delhi: In an unexpected turn of events, right-wing outfit Hindu Raksha Dal on Monday 'claimed responsibility' for the brutal violence in JNU, where various students were injured.
Hindu Raksha Dal national convenor Pinki Choudhary said, "We could not tolerate the anti-national activities going on in JNU for the past several years. If anyone indulges in such anti-national activities, they will get the same answer from us."
"Their behaviour is against our religion. JNU has been a communist 'adda' for many years. We take full responsibility for yesterday's events," he added, claiming that all the persons behind the violence were Hindu Raksha Dal workers.
Choudhary further 'warned' that if such activities are seen in other universities, the Hindu Raksha Dal would not shy away from violence again.
