Terming pollution a major issue, Gambhir said his vision was clear. He added that he did not want to make big poll promises and had sorted his agendas. He said that he would not promise that he would change the state into London or Paris, but would work hard to expand higher education facilities in the state.

The cricketer-turned-politician further added that he had planned to convert Yamuna Vihar Sports Complex into a stadium.

He said that parking was also a major issue in the state, therefore, he would like to build as many multi-level parking lots as possible.

He asserted that he would prioritise the issue of Ghazipur landfill site, which is one of Delhi's biggest landfill sites, as he wanted to give a clean environment to the state.

He added that he would work on the extension of metro rail from Narela in Delhi to Kundli.
