New Delhi:Four Kashmiri youths believed to be conspiring a terrorist attack in Delhi have been arrested by the Special Cell. Four pistols and 120 live cartridges have been recovered from them, the police said.
The arrested Ishfaq Majid Koka is the elder brother of Kashmir's infamous terrorist Burhan Koka alias Chhota Burhan. He was killed in an encounter by the army.
According to Special Cell's DCP Pramod Kushwaha, the team of Inspector Sunil, Ravindra Joshi and Vinay was working under the supervision of ACP Hriday Bhushan and Lalit Mohan Negi keeping in mind the terrorist attack. During this time, they came to know that some suspected Kashmiris are hiding in Delhi.
Based on the information that the group is plotting to carry out a major attack in the capital and also has a large number of weapons, the team of Special Cell gathered information about them.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind Chief, Burhan Koka was killed by the army in an encounter on 29 April after which his brother Ishfaq Majid Koka has been recruited by the terrorist organization.
