New Delhi: Unlike traditional libraries, a unique library on a footpath has been started in the country's capital.
The Delhi Police on December 15, 2019, had barged into the Jamia Millia campus, used force on students and allegedly vandalised property, including the library.
The library has since been closed for repairs and remains off-limits to students.
Faced with such a problem, the students of Jamia Millia Islamia came up with the idea of a footpath library comprising of several books, magazines and newspapers.
People have also started donating books for the unique library.
