New Delhi: Teachers from over 10 Delhi University colleges boycotted online classes and official work to protest the alleged non-release of grants to 12 colleges fully funded by the Delhi Government.
Alok Ranjan Pandey, Vice-President of the Delhi University Teachers' Association (DUTA) told ETV Bharat here that Arvind Kejriwal, who came to power on the promise of looking into problems of the ordinary people, has become an "autocrat". He said the way the Delhi Government is behaving with the teachers of the university is unfortunate.
Pandey said teachers and the workers are not being paid and it's really saddening.
"Kejriwal must realise how would he have felt without salary when he was working as a salaried man," he said, adding that cluster-wise strike has been started under which teaching staff from some colleges like Gargi College, Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College and some others boycotted official duties.
