Dr Ranjana in Apolitical Most Influential 100 People

Dr Ranjana Kumari, who has devoted her life to empower women, has been included in the list of 100 most influential people in the gender policy. She is the director of the Center for Social Research.

New Delhi:Dr Ranjana Kumari, director of the Center for Social Research, a renowned organization working in the field of women's rights, has been included among the 100 most influential people in the sex policy for the year 2019 in the second annual list of the appellate.

Some popular names on the list are:

• Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka (executive director of UN women)
• Ruth Bader Ginsburg (Associated justice of the Supreme Court of the United States)
• Caren Grone (senior director of gender issues in the world bank group)
• Michelle Bachelet (High Commissioner for Human rights, UN)
• Michelle Obama (Founder, Global Girls Alliance)
• Bineta Diop ( Founder, Femmes Africa Solidarite)
• Mariam Jalabi (Founding member, Syrian women's political Movement)
• Margot Wallstrom (Minister of Foreign affairs, Sweden)

The following list was prepared after reviewing more than 9000 nominations from government and international organizations and academic communities from across the globe.

There are a lot of good things happening in the whole world, and there is still a lot to be done to make the whole world a fair place for women."

Dr Kumari has devoted her life to empower the women in the South Asian Region. She went to school in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Her grandfather, a freedom fighter, Pandit Vishwanath Sharma, was the founder member of the famous Kashi Vidyapith of Varanasi.
