Doctor commits suicide by jumping off GTB hospital in Delhi

A doctor committed suicide by jumping from the eighth floor of the GTB hospital in Delhi. An investigation into the matter is underway.

New Delhi:A 44-year-old doctor allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the eighth-floor balcony of GTB hospital campus in New Delhi, police said on Sunday.

Pallav (44), a native of Assam was residing in the campus along with his wife and took the extreme step on Saturday night, they said.

Police said that the deceased jumped from the eighth floor of the hospital.

Primarily it suggests that he has committed suicide due to mental pressure; however, no suicide note was recovered from the deceased, said police.

Police said that an investigation is underway.
