New Delhi: In view of the coronavirus pandemic, prominent Muslim body Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind on Saturday appealed to all its donors to not make monetary donations to the organisation but instead help common man without any religious discrimination.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind president Maulana Arshad Madani said that the world is going through a very fragile phase at present and it is the time to stand united and fight against the outbreak of the coronavirus.
Reiterating that the holy month of Ramadhan is ongoing, Maulana Madani stressed that Islam asks fortunate people to ensure that no one remains hungry around them. "So, it is our responsibility to help the needy without any religious discrimination," added Maulana Madani.
