New Delhi:Restoring our faith in humanity, people of a village in Delhi have taken a noble initiative of feeding the stranded migrant labourers in the suburban amid COVID-19 lockdown.
As soon as the word spread, the whole village along with some foreign nationals and RSS workers became the contributors of the initiative of feeding the migrant workers, who have no source of income due to the ongoing lockdown.
'United we stand, together we fall' stands true to the noble initiative of the Ghitorni village, where people are voluntarily supporting each other in this hour of crisis.
"Ten chapattis are collected from each house. The vegetable is prepared at a common place where the food packages are prepared. Once all the packages are prepared they are distributed among the labourers following social distancing guidelines," said a local.
