He said, "We are compelled to take loans due to our household expenses. We never thought that such as day will come when we will have to struggle to get our own salary."

Pandey further said that whatever is going on between the government and the University administration is none of their business.

"We have nothing to do with that issue, they will have to sort out the issue themselves but the government will have to release the fund so that we can get our salary," he asserted.

Meanwhile, another employee of the same college, Rajbir Singh said that the financial condition of the house has deteriorated due to lack of salary for several months.

"We are left to suffer in a big way. The situation has become such that due to no money, neither are we able to feed our children properly nor able to pay the school fee," he said showing his anguish.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Delhi University and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) dispensation have been locked in a tussle over the formation of governing bodies in 28 colleges fully or partially funded by the government.
