Delhi police searching for 14-year-old missing girl

A teenage girl has been missing from Laxmi Nagar area of the national capital for over a week. Family says she went out to a nearby shop but did not return.

New Delhi: A 14-year-old girl, who went missing in Laxmi Nagar area of the city a week ago, is yet to be traced.

Family members say that she went out telling that she was going to a nearby shop and would be back soon.

They said we searched for her everywhere in the locality after she did not return and filed a police complaint in the evening.

Police officials say that efforts are on to locate the minor girl but there has been no headway in the case till date.

She was seen walking alone on CCTV cameras installed in the area, the police said, adding that the search is on.
