New Delhi:Delhi High Court has issued a notice to Delhi Police while hearing the bail plea of Preet Singh, accused of raising inflammatory slogans at Jantar Mantar. Justice Mukta Gupta has ordered the next hearing on September 15.
Earlier, on August 28, the Patiala House Court had rejected the bail application of Preet Singh. Additional Sessions Judge Anil Antil had said that the Constitution of the country gives the right to freedom of opinion by gathering at one place but this right should be exercised with restrictions. The court had said that the accused, Preet Singh, can be seen along with the other accused when he gave provocative speeches.
