New Delhi:In view of the new strain of coronavirus in the United Kingdom, the Indian government had put in place some rules and guidelines for the incoming passengers from there. However, over time, the Delhi government has updated those rules.

Earlier, all incoming passengers had to get themselves tested through the RT-PCR (Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction) method on arrival at the airport. The cost of the test to be borne by the passengers. Those who were found positive were to be kept in a separate institutional isolation facility.

Those with no to mild symptoms were to undergo institutional quarantine for seven days and seven days home quarantine until January 31.
