New Delhi: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Sunday attacked Union Energy Minister RK Singh for his statement on Arvind Kejriwal's letter regarding the power crisis.
Sisodia said that the way the Centre is dealing with the situation it seems that BJP is not capable of running the government. They are looking for an excuse to wriggle of the coal crisis. He also said that the Central government should not take the power crisis lightly like 'oxygen crisis'.
Countering the statement of the Union Minister, Manish Sisodia said, "not only Delhi Chief Minister but the CM's of many states including Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh have also written to the Centre regarding the coal crisis. Instead of working on it, the Union Energy Minister is indulging in political blame game. Earlier, lot of people suffered due to oxygen crisis during second wave of Covid-19 in April-May. Now, the coal crisis is quite similar but the Centre is looking the other way,"
Deputy Chief Minister said that the coal crisis will not only affect the power supply, but also the industry and the economy. He added that instead of making political statements, the government should move towards fixing the coal crisis.
