Delhi: 68 health workers quarantined after patient dies of COVID-19

After the death of a suspected corona patient at the Bhagwan Mahaveer Hospital in Delhi, the hospital administration has sent 68 health workers to the home quarantine.

New Delhi: After the death of a suspected corona patient at the Bhagwan Mahaveer Hospital in Delhi, the hospital administration has sent 68 health workers to the home quarantine.

According to sources, after unveiling the travel history of the woman, the District Magistrate of Northwest Delhi had advised her to be home quarantined.

Later, on April 13 she was admitted to the Bhagwan Mahaveer Hospital in Delhi as her health condition deteriorated.

On April 15, when the condition of the female patient worsened, she was put on a ventilator. She died on April 15 while undergoing treatment, sources said.

As a precaution, as many as 68 health care workers, including security guards doctors, nurses, who came in contact with the woman have been sent to home quarantine till their test report comes, sources added.
