New Delhi: A team of Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has been working to rehabilitate the girl, who as a 12-year-old child was kidnapped by Bedwal on September 11, 2009 and was sold and re-sold to a score of people, including Sonu Punjaban, for prostitution.
Now, the victim, who is a 23-year old young woman, is being supported by the DCW. The organisation had even appointed a lawyer for her to fight the case.
Meanwhile, sex racketeer Geeta Arora, alias Sonu Punjaban was sent to 24 years rigorous imprisonment by a Delhi court in the case of kidnapping and prostitution, concerning the girl.
