Constable attempts suicide near Pakistan embassy

According to Additional DCP Deepak Yadav, the constable shot himself and was found in a bloodied state. He was immediately taken to the AIIMS trauma center where his treatment is going on.

New Delhi:A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) constable on Monday shot himself with his service pistol in Pakistan Embassy at Chanakyapuri.

Constable D Ram Babu shot himself after which the locals alerted the police hearing the gunshot sound.

According to Additional DCP Deepak Yadav, the constable shot himself and was found in a bloodied state. He was immediately taken to the AIIMS trauma center where his treatment is going on.

The police have informed the family members of Ram Babu and no suicide note was found in his possession.

His condition is said to be critical and an investigation is on.
