New Delhi:The crime branch is likely to file a charge sheet against businessman Navneet Kalra in a case pertaining to the seizure of oxygen concentrators from his upscale restaurants, including Khan Chacha in New Delhi. The charge sheet will be filed based on evidence collected by investigators as well as statements made by complainants and witnesses.
According to sources, the crime branch will file the charge sheet before June 30. The businessman, accused of black-marketing the critical medical device, was nabbed from Gurugram on May 16 and formally arrested the next day. A court later sent him to judicial custody before he was granted bail. Kalra was on the run after the police raided his restaurants in Khan Market and seized the medical devices. According to the crime branch, the complainants have accused Kalra of cheating them with poor quality oxygen concentrators.
