New Delhi: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) President Anil Chaudhary on Sunday slammed Arvind Kejriwal over his statement saying "government and some private hospitals will be reserved for the residents."

Anil Chaudhary asked him to clarify who are the residents of Delhi?

He also accused Kejriwal of lying by saying, "In the press conference on 7 April, Arvind Kejriwal had said that 30,000 beds would be ready in Delhi. But today, based on the suggestion of the expert committee, they are saying that by the end of June, 1,500 beds will be needed."

Once again it has proved that Kejriwal is lying, he added.

Kejriwal is talking about not treating the migrants who chose Delhi, worked here and made Delhi, Chaudhary stated.

He said that many migrants are still living in Delhi. If they are sick, infected, why should they not be treated in hospitals in Delhi?

Many MLAs have come from outside and become MLAs here. I also want to question those MLAs as to what they think about this decision? Chaudhary asked.

Giving an example of Arvind Kejriwal, Anil Chaudhary said that he used to live in Indirapuram of Noida and today he is talking about treating only Delhi people here.

The Delhi government and some private hospitals in the city will be reserved for the residents of the national capital, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Sunday.

The Central government hospitals will remain open for all, Arvind Kejriwal said.

The announcement has come amid the controversy of Delhi hospitals turning away coronavirus patients, claiming the non-availability of beds while the app launched by the Arvind Kejriwal government, to check the availability of beds, suggests otherwise.
