CISF arrests man for carrying weapon at Anand Vihar metro station

A man carrying a country-made pistol was arrested by CISF on Sunday at Anand Vihar metro station. Vishal Chand (38), a resident of Lajpat Nagar was apprehended and later handed over to the police.

New Delhi: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Sunday arrested a man for carrying a country-made pistol at Anand Vihar metro station.

The man has been identified as 38-year-old Vishal Chand who is a resident of Lajpat Nagar, said CISF Constable Satbir Singh who apprehended him.

The CISF later handed over Singh to the police for further action.
