Chawri Bazar scuffle: Action taken against culprits, confirms DCP

Three people were arrested after a clash broke out between two groups and a temple was vandalised in Delhi. The incident happened in Chawari Bazar area late on Sunday.

New Delhi:A clash broke out between two groups over the issue of parking and a temple was vandalised in Delhi’s Chawari Bazar area late on Sunday.

After 'Aman Committee meeting', MS Randhawa, DCP, Central Delhi, said, “It has been decided that everybody will live peacefully. Markets will open tomorrow and we have taken action against the culprits. Three FIRs have been registered.”

Earlier on Monday, Union Minister Harsh Vardhan visited Hauz Qazi the area where the clash broke out. Security has been tightened in the area.

Three people have been arrested till now.
