New Delhi: Chandrayaan-2's lander - Vikram, is going to make a soft landing on the surface of the moon in the early hours of Saturday. People from across the country and the world are excited to witness as India is all set to script history with its ambitious moon mission on the south pole of the lunar surface.
The Chandrayaan-2 mission comes exactly 50 years after the first human stepped onto the lunar surface on July 20, 1969, as Apollo-11 landed on the moon with three astronauts.
ETV Bharat interacted with people to find out about their feelings about the country's moon mission.
"It is a great achievement of India and you are the leaders in this realm of the world. We need to learn a lot from you," said a US citizen, Mary. Like many Indian citizens, she was also excited about the mission and got really fascinated to know about Chandrayaan-2.
