Caught on camera: Man clings on car hood after hit and run

An incident of Ghaziabad's Indirapuram came into light through a video where a man is seen clinging on the hood of a car. The incident stemmed from a dispute between the two drivers who had hit each other's vehicle.

New Delhi / Ghaziabad: A man managed to avoid being the victim of a hit-and-run by jumping on the hood of a car and holding on as its driver tried fleeing. The incident, that took place in Ghaziabad's Indirapuram, was captured by an onlooker in his phone.

The incident stemmed from a dispute between the two drivers who had hit each other's vehicle in a bid to overtake.

The accused did not come out of the vehicle. The victim got out of his car to check the damages. Meanwhile, the accused tried to escape. In an attempt to stop him, the victim clung on to the hood of the accused's car.

The accused stopped the car when halted by some motorists. He was taken into custody by the police.
