The BRS central office is spread over an area of 11,000 sq feet. Rao had laid the foundation stone for the BRS office in Delhi in 2021. It can be recalled that Telangana Chief Minister KCR rechristened the regional party Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) into Bharat Rashtra Samiti in October last year as part of his move to foray into national politics.
The party was launched on the occasion of Dussehra last year after the TRS committee unanimously agreed to change the name of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi to Bharat Rashtra Samithi, indicating that the party shall now be recognized as a national party. The party was launched in presence of former Chief Minister of Karnataka and JDS leader Kumaraswamy, President of Tamil Nadu VCK Party and MP Thirumavalavan, and others at the Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad.
