BJP's Meenakshi Lekhi slams Kejriwal govt over rising COVID-19 cases in Delhi

BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi on Tuesday slammed the Arvind Kejriwal government over the rising cases of COVID-19 in New Delhi.

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Meenakshi Lekhi slammed the Arvind Kejriwal government over the rising cases of COVID-19 in the national capital.

"Kejriwal government is directly responsible for the increasing number of patients in Delhi. Due to the lack of timely bed facilities in hospitals and less testing, people are dying", Meenakshi said.

First aid Mohalla clinics opened by the Delhi government to provide convenience are closed at the time of need, operation theatres are closed in many hospitals, she added.

BJP MP stated, "If tracking and testing were done from the beginning, it would not be the condition of Delhi today."

According to the total number of infections, condition in Maharashtra and Delhi is worst, the recovery rate is also the lowest in Delhi, she claimed.
