New Delhi: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the central BJP leadership has not yet declared its candidate from the Ranchi parliamentary constituency, one of the most prestigious seats among the 14 from Jharkhand.
BJP yet to decide candidature from Ranchi, Chatra and Koderma Rajya Sabha MP from Jharkhand Mahesh Poddar said, "The BJP put on hold the names of nominees for Ranchi, Chatra and Koderma. Sources in the BJP say that all the three sitting leaders may be denied tickets."
"There is trouble within the ‘Mahagathbandhan’ in Jharkhand with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) fielding Subhash Yadav from Chatra." he added.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has fielded Subhash Yadav from Chatra and Ghuran Ram from Palamau Lok Sabha seats even though it was allotted only Palamau while Chatra was given to the Congress as part of the seat sharing.
