BJP's national spokesperson Sudesh Verma has questioned the authenticity of Ashok Lavasa's letter and claims that the PM has not made any statement and whatever Narendra Modi has said is under the code of conduct. He also added that the report is not official and BJP doesn't believe in it.

New Delhi:Ashok Lavasa, Election Commissioner, who was not in agreement with the decision to give a clean chit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, President of Bharatiya Janata Party, in violation of Model Code of Conduct, complaints against them has reportedly recused himself from all meetings on MCC issues.

BJP's national spokesperson Sudesh Verma has questioned the authenticity of Ashok Lavasa's letter and claimed that Prime Minister has not made any statement and whatever Narendra Modi has said is under the code of conduct.

"The report is not official and BJP doesn't believe in it," he further added.
