New Delhi: Unidentified armed robbers barged into a godown of a transport company and looted ₹20 lakh from its owner in Mundka region of Delhi.
After getting the information, the police rushed to the spot and collected the CCTV footage from the nearby areas.
According to owner, Sanju, "I was in the office when 4-5 masked criminals barged in. They were armed and some of their accomplices were waiting outside."
As per preliminary investigation, it seems the robbers were well aware of the place and knew where the money was kept, said police sources. It must be some insider who shared the information, they added.
Meanwhile, an FIR had been registered and a probe initiated into the matter.
