Sonipat: Amid the ongoing protest by wrestlers against Wrestling Federation President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, wrestler Babita Phogat, a member of the committee formed to investigate the matter, has alleged misbehavior by another committee member leading to further escalation. Phogat is the member of the Oversight Committee (OC), which was formed by the Sports Ministry in Jan. this year and has already submitted a report to the Government, which is being studied by the sports ministry.
Babita Phogat alleged that despite being a member of the committee, Radhika Shriman, another committee member misbehaved with her. Phogat said that the said committee member snatched the report from her hands and also accused her of favouritism towards the protesting wrestlers. Phogat even said that she had lodged several objections before the inquiry committee but her objections were ignored.
