2 miscreants open fire on showroom owner's car, flee uninterrupted

Two men, with helmets on, came on a scooter in Vasundhara area under Indirapuram police station Saturday morning and opened several rounds of fire on the car of a showroom owner here. Sources say that the incident was a fallout of a dispute over the showroom.

The entire episode got captured on the CCTV camera installed in the area.

New Delhi/Ghaziabad: Two unidentified miscreants opened fire on the car of a showroom owner parked outside his house in Vasundhara area under Indirapuram police station here on Saturday.

Two unidentified miscreants opened fire on the car of a showroom owner in Vasundhara area under Indirapuram police station on Saturday.

The duo managed to flee uninterrupted. However, the entire episode got captured on the CCTV camera installed in the area.

Two men, with helmets on, came on a scooter in the area on Saturday morning and opened several rounds of fire on the car of one Sanjeev Dixit, owner of a showroom in a mall here. Sources say that the incident was a fallout of a dispute over the showroom.

Though the incident took place in the vicinity of Indirapuram police station, police did not come to know about the incident. The victim has lodged a complaint in the matter.

Police have initiated a probe into the matter and are scrutinising the recovered CCTV footage. The miscreants could not be identified as their faces were covered with a kerchief and they were also wearing helmets.
