11 juveniles escape from observation home

As many as 11 juveniles fled from an observation home in the national capital. However, one of them was captured by the police. The case is being investigated, the police said.

New Delhi:Eleven juveniles fled have from an NGO-run observation home here, official sources said.

Delhi Police officials said the juveniles fled on Wednesday night after injuring security guards deployed at the centre.

The city police have nabbed one juvenile, he said.

According to the management of the home, around 7 pm, the juveniles managed to overpower the private security guards using a metal rod and sticks.

The injured guards have been admitted to a near-by hospital. The case is being investigated, the police said.
