School principal accused of banning kids from saying 'Bharat Mata ki Jai'

The principal of a school in Chhattisgarh's Kanker district banned students from saying 'Bharat Mata ki jai' and 'Vande Mataram' in the school. When the parents reached the school, he denied all the accusations, he, however, later sought an apology for any mistake that she might have made.

Kanker: The principal of St. Joseph School in Bhanupratappur was accused of not allowing the students to say 'Bharat mata ki Jai' in the premises. When the parents and members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad got the information, they reached the school and protested against the principal.

The Tehsildar and the BEO were informed about it. Soon, there were policemen deployed around the area.

The principal asked the students to call out 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' in front of the parents.

The principal clearly denied any such restriction put upon by her on the kids. He even asked out the kids to call out slogans of 'Bharat Mata ki jai' and 'Vande Mataram' in front of all the people present there.

The news soon spread on social media.

The village Tehsildar Anand Ram Netam, however, informed that the principal upon denying the accusations sought an apology for any mistake that he might have made.
