Raipur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is on a two-day visit to Chhattisgarh where he is scheduled to meet leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and formulate strategies.
However, the state Congress has found this as an opportunity to bombard the RSS chief with three questions.
Congress spokesperson RP Singh posed these questions to the RSS chief:
- Will Godhan Nyay Yojana be implemented on a national level?
- Will Mohan Bhagwat visit the Kaushalya temple?
- Will Ram Van Gaman Path be included in Central scheme?
With the questions related to Kaushalya temple, Congress is trying to do temple politics in an effort to give BJP a taste of their own medicine.
According to reports, Bhagwat met State BJP general Pawan Sai and Rajnand MLA Santosh Pandey on Saturday late night and talks were going on for hours. However, topics of the discussion remain undisclosed.
Bhagawat's Chhattisgarh trip is deemed politically motivated by many. Experts opine that the BJP has already started strategy formation in the state and would not want to replicate the loss they earlier faced in 2018.
The right-wing party is trying to check all the boxes by coming up with counters to the state's ruling government's coa, dung, Ram Van Gaman and Kaushalya temple politics.
