Police constable's corpse recovered in Chhattisgarh

A corpse of a police constable was recovered in Chhattisgarh's Malkangiri on Friday morning. Police denied Naxal involvement and stated the murder was the result of a personal dispute.

Sukma: A police constable's corpse was recovered on Friday morning in Chhattisgarh's Malkangiri.

The deceased has been identified as Ramnivas and his body was disposed off near the bypass, whereas the actual crime took place elsewhere.

A vehicle was also found stranded at the spot.

Police have, however, denied Naxal involvement and stated the incident was the result of a personal dispute.

Locals informed the police about the dead constable and the officials immediately reached the spot.

Sukma SP Shalabh Sinha also reached the spot to take stock of the situation.
