Raipur (Chhattisgarh):Coronavirus or the COVID-19 infection is spreading like a wildfire across the world.
During such times, it is difficult to track everyone who has come in close proximity with those who might be infected.
However, at this time of crisis, students of National Institute of Technology, Raipur have developed an application to help trace individuals who come in close contact with COVID-19 positive cases.
The team comprises of five students, Aman Verma, Ayush Ganuli, Ammar Alvi, Aryan Sarkar and Kaushik Mishra.
Speaking about this, Aman Verma, who led the team, said that this kind of apps are being used in China and Singapore too. Through this app, people will be able to know which area is more sensitive and where people have more gathering.
He further said that they will soon take this app to the government and if the government approves this app then it will be very useful for the general public.
It is to be noted that coronavirus pandemic has engulfed the whole world killing more than one lakh people.
