Narrow escape for polling team in Chhattisgarh

Naxalites detonated an IED in Dhanora police station area when the polling team was returning from the booth. No casualties have been reported.

Kondagaon: An IED blast took place in Dhanora police station area after the polling party for the Lok Sabha elections was returning from the booth on Thursday.

Ananth Kumar Sahu, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) has confirmed the blast. No casualties have been reported.

Reportedly, the IED blast took place between Bedmamari and Dhanora.

Previously, Naxalites had planted an IED on a bicycle and detonated it with the remote in Mohalla Manpur. An ITBP jawan was injured in the blast.
