Raipur:After the Chhattisgarh Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) team conducted extensive raids at the residence of a senior IPS officer GP Singh, an FIR was registered against him on the basis of the 'facts' revealed in the preliminary investigation. He has been charged on the basis of acquiring disproportionate assets in Raipur, Bhilai, Rajnandgaon and also in Odisha.
During the preliminary investigation, it has also been revealed that Singh has acquired illegal properties worth many crores of rupees at different places. He has also been accused of indulging in illegal transactions and money laundering by investing in shell companies. Separate teams of the ACB raided at least 10 locations, including Singh's official residence in the state capital Raipur, a senior ACB official said.
