Chh'garh: Health workers offer medical relief to tribals residing in Naxal affected areas

In order to provide medical relief to the tribal population residing in the Naxal affected areas of Chhattisgarh's Bijapur, the health workers make use of temporary boats to travel in the region.

Bijapur:Health workers are providing medical relief to tribal people residing in some of the Naxal affected areas of Chhattisgarh's Bijapur.

Dr. P Vijay of a Community Medical Centre said, "We have to face many difficulties in order to reach remote villages in Bijapur , including overflowing rivers and steep hills."

"We get motivated by the fact that we are providing medical facilities to the tribals who are very much dependent on us for medical care, " added Dr. Vijay.

Another Doctor BR Pujari said, "The health workers provide medical relief to the tribals living in the remote areas. I also go with them to the medical camps so that the health workers remain motivated."

A member of Zilla Panchayat Kamlesh Karam said, "We need health workers like these who are ready to face all odds of the weather and provide medical care to the tribal people."
