Traders are not purchasing tomatoes, yield rotting: Farmers
Farmers say that tomatoes have ripen, but traders are not ready to purchase and the yield is rotting in the farms.

The import duty on tomatoes has also been increased which has decreased its demand. The farmers are really worried as the traders are not purchasing tomatoes and the yield is rotting in the farms.
A farmer told that he had planted tomatoes in his six bhiga farm and now all the yield was getting spoilt and being eaten by animals.
