Temple in Bihar's Nalanda bans women during Chaitra Navratri

Hindu traditionalists blocked women from entering in a Bihar's temple during Chaitra Navratri. Women are specifically not allowed because prayers are offered here from 'tantrik' methodology

Nalanda (Bihar):A temple in Bihar's Nalanda does not allow entry of women during Chaitra Navratri.

Women are allowed to listen to bhajans but not allowed to offer prayers.

Priest of the temple says, "Women are specifically not allowed because prayers are offered here from 'tantrik' methodology."

Chaitra Navratri is being observed from April 6 to 14.
