Patna: Poll strategist Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraj in Bihar received another shot in the arm on Tuesday when six retired bureaucrats joined the organisation. All six retired IAS officers visited the Patna office of Jan Suraj and made a formal announcement of joining the outfit. The retired babus opined that they were impressed by Prashant Kishor's dedication and seeking people's opinions for good governance in the state. Hence, we decided to be a part of Jan Suraj's social reform campaign, said the new entrants to the outfit.
Former IAS officer Ajay Kumar Dwivedi after joining the Jan Suraj campaign, said, "At present, we have undertaken padayatra (foot march) under the leadership of Prashant Kishor. During the padayatra, we are creating awareness among people to choose the right candidate. Simultaneously, a document is being prepared during the people's outreach programme. Our party's manifesto will be prepared based on this vision document. Our next move to float a political party after the completion of the padayatra will be taken based on the document. But, this will happen in the later stage. Currently, we are focusing on bringing like-minded people under one roof."
