Patna (Bihar): Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri alias Bageshwar Baba reached Bihar on Saturday on his five-day visit to Naubatpur to hold "Hanuman Katha". The programme is being organised at the Taret Pali Math located in Naubatpur. Security was beefed up at the Patna airport due to the arrival of Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri amid protests. Opposing Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri's visit to the state, Minister Tej Pratap Yadav said that Baba will not be allowed to come out of the airport.
According to official sources, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri will reach the venue, Taret Pali Math located in Naubatpur at the designated time after taking some rest in Hotel Panash in Patna. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the visit of Shastri. A large number of devotees are expected to reach the state for the event for which, special and additional forces have been deployed in the area. The security arrangements are being done by the local administration.
Jitender Singh Gangwar, Additional Director General (ADG), police headquarters has also issued SOP in this regard. Phulwari, Bikram, Danapur and Bihta police stations have been put on alert. Apart from this, 200 additional traffic forces will be deployed. ADG said that massive security arrangements have been made so that the people reaching there do not face any traffic woes or have any security-related issues.

Sources also said that the program is scheduled to be held from May 13 to May 17 and Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri will deliver sermons at the Taret Pali Math every day from 4 pm to 7 pm for the next five days. About 15 lakh people are expected to visit the venue during the five-day-long event and every day around two to three lakh devotees would throng the venue. A massive pandal spread over an area of three lakh square feet has been made to allow a huge crowd of followers and around 15 thousand volunteers will be deployed to help the people.
